Edgar Allan Poe, 1809-1849: His Poems and Stories Are Strange and Frightening.

I would like to introduce you a really Great Author - Edgar Allan Poe. 
He is my favorite author from childhood. Alas, he is not well known in the countries of the former CIS, his works aren't included in school education, but in vain. 
Edgar Allan Poe was an American writer, poet, editor and literary critic. He was widely developed person with deep thoughts. Moreover he is recognized as the inventor of the detective-fiction genre. Directors shoot films by his tales.
